Recipe: brown sauce for beef and broccoli
This is by no means a traditional way to cook beef and broccoli stir-fry, but I really like this combination of sauce. I call it the “brown sauce”.
Ingredients:
- Soy sauce
- Hoisin
- Shaoxing wine
- Oyster sauce
- Honey
- (Optional) White pepper
Steps:
- Mix all ingredients above. Pour the mixture into beef and broccoli stir-fry.
- Add water or cornstarch slurry if necessary to loosen or thicken them.
