Recipe: chili con carne
Ingredients:
- Ground beef
- Onion, diced
- Garlic, pressed
- Taco seasoning
- Tomato paste
- Chicken stock - about 450 ml for every 500 grams of beef
- Canned tomatoes
- Canned red kidney beans
- Bay leaves
- Worcestershire sauce
- (Optional) fish sauce
- (Optional) Chicken feet - will make the stock richer
Steps:
- In a dutch oven, brown the ground beef
- Add onion and garlic
- Add taco seasoning and tomato paste
- Add canned tomatoes and canned kidney beans
- Add chicken feet and chicken stock
- Add bay leaves
- Add worcestershire sauce and fish sauce
- Simmer in a low-medium heat for about 1.5 hours, with lid opened to reduce the liquid
