A few insights that I randomly found with regards to a way of life or thinking. Most of them are coming from the thoughts of wonderful philosophers - like Marcus Aurelius, or Seneca.

Random quotes:

  • The happiness of our life depends on the quality of our thoughts, and our way of thinking.
  • Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not a truth.
  • Accept things to which fate binds you, and love people with whom fate brings you together. Do so with all your heart.
  • If it’s not right, don’t do it. If it’s not true, don’t say it.
  • Pray differently. Instead of “not to lose our child”, try “a way to lose the fear of it”.
  • Because it is difficult, doesn’t mean it is impossible.
  • Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to.
  • Stay calm and serene regardless of what life throws at you.
  • If someone is able to prove me wrong, I’ll happily change my mind.
  • The more things we desire and the more we have to do to earn or attain those achievements, the less we actually enjoy our lives—and the less free we are.

Random insights, or way of thinking:

Other people’s behaviour shouldn’t cause us to deviate from our virtuous path - “when you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: the people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous and surly. They are like this because they can’t tell good from evil. But I have seen the beauty of good, and the ugliness of evil.”
