This seems obvious, but I’ll write it anyway as a self reminder. I broaden my cuisines knowledge by simply cook and experiment more often. I build a pipeline for what I should try to cook next.

  • It starts with a casual browsing from social media - mostly instagram and youtube videos.
  • If it looks interesting, I shortlist them. I usually put them as saved videos, or share it to my personal DM to pick up later.
  • I then try to re-cook them, sometimes modify them to my taste, or depending on the ingredients availability.
  • If I like the dishes, I persist them in this blog, or discard them if it doesn’t taste good to me.
